I get a lot of 240sx owners asking me about the best way to reupholster the S13 door card insert. It’s easily the most common interior mod, basically only interior mod, that S13 owners attempt. The OEM door card consists of a vinyl wrapped card with some nasty light beige/gray tweed material in the non-removable insert. If you have never seen it, it’s bad! This tweed insert usually just gets ripped off by most owners and the standard vinyl behind it is good enough for some. However, a lot of owners like to attempt to reupholster the insert. One door closes, another opens

In this case, it’s a car door that is closing (well it’s not closing, you’ll see what I mean below!).
The time has come for me to part with my mini. This car has become part of my soul over the past 5 years or so that I have owned it, it was my only car during my time at university and we have many good memories, but it simply requires too much work to make it a viable project for me, as much as it pains me to say it. There is simply too much time and money required for me to get it roadworthy again.

It’s probably one of my favourite series on YouTube and the quality is shown by the fact they have over 100,000 subscribers despite only having 14 episodes in the series so far.

1 Down, n-1 To Go…

Today is the day I have been registered with wordpress for exactly 1 year.

A big thank you to everyone who reads my blog, everyone who has liked my posts and everyone who comments!
I know I haven’t been too active recently, it seems that funny old thing called life can get in the way sometimes, but I haven’t forgotten about you or about this blog! Hopefully with the nights drawing in and the weather getting worse I should have a little bit more indoor-time to contribute to the blog, time will tell.

 

 

Criticism

That way, when I do criticise him, I’m a mile away and I have his shoes.

Trump is president

So, it looks like Donald Trump did it, he’s now officially the president of the US.

 

I’m more left-leaning than the typical American and so would have preferred Clinton (although choosing between those two is like choosing which venereal disease is best), but I don’t live in the US so it’s not a massive issue to me.
I don’t really know what he has in store for the US and the rest of the world, but if nothing else it should be ‘interesting’.

Time will tell.
